Questions

Getting started, answered plainly

Yes. Office buildings and multifamily properties get the same sealed record: equipment across the building, every repair and vendor receipt, and a verified history to share with buyers, lenders and insurers. Choose Commercial when you enter the address.

No other users. If you invite a contractor to log work on your home, they can add to it. If you export it, you decide who gets the copy, such as a buyer or an inspector. A small number of Merit staff can access accounts to give support, and that access is logged.

Absolutely. Start with the big things you can see: the roof, the furnace, the water heater. The label on a water heater or furnace usually shows when it was made, which is all Merit needs to start predicting upkeep.

You can export your verified record and hand it to buyers. Transferring the record to the new owner at closing is coming soon.

Anytime. Export your record’s history as a PDF and JSON, and verify for yourself that nothing in it has been changed.
