Merit is building one honest, tamper-evident record for every home and building: what it’s made of, what’s been done to it, and what’s due next. A record the owner controls, and that stays with the house.
Why we’re building it
Property is the biggest thing most owners have, and the least documented
A car has a service history. A home or a building, worth many times more, usually has a drawer of receipts and whatever the last owner remembered. That gap costs owners at every turn: surprise repairs, slow sales, and questions nobody can answer with confidence.
We think the fix is simple: one record per property, kept honest by design, owned by the owner, and easy enough to keep up that people actually do.
